About this tool
Organize a pasted list in alphabetical order, reverse order or by line length. Natural sorting places item2 before item10. Alphabetical comparisons use English, ignore letter case and keep the original text of each line.

Questions, answered
Does sorting remove duplicates?
No. Every original line is retained unless you choose to remove blank lines. Duplicate Line Remover is a separate tool.
What is natural sorting?
Numbers inside text are compared numerically, so “file2” comes before “file10”. Line-length sorting counts Unicode code points.
